About
PinkyPriss Ebisu came over for a visit looking for my comission catalog system that I give away. She mentioned that the last time she was able to purchase it from me through my shop, but the box was empty. A few people have told me that they've had this problem.
What seems to be the case is that the unpacking script can't transfer no-copy items into the end-users inventory as a folder. I changed the script to give no-copy items directly to the avatar, but I think that they don't realize that it's no in the specially named folder, and instead is in there object folder.
Lately, I've gotten rid of unpacking scripts completely. I setup all of the boxes so that the default command is open on touch. The copy-to-inventory button that usually appears will ask them if they want to move no-copy items as well. Going through the basic interface like this moves the items into the correct folder and hopefully will remove all of the confusion.
For the trouble that PinkyPriss went through, I handed her a custom vendor that gives her twice as much comission. She has some kind of photography studio that seems to be popular (N30 Model Studio). Perhaps she'll get some extra sales comming in through here and make some nice cash from it.
I've been noticing Pinky's name show up a lot when she comes through. It's nice to see repeat visitors who are not after the money tree alone. Perhaps I'm doing something right for a change.
